Ma Jin Shui

“A manual of Acupuncture” by Peter Deadman & Mazin Al-Khafaji

“Ma Jin Shui” a point overlapping anatomically with “Quan Liao” or Small Intestine 18 is located on the lower boarder of the zygomatic arch, in line with the outer canthus of the eye. Since it is located on the Tai Yang Small Intestine channel it has correspondences with the Heart as well as with the Tai Yang Bladder having correspondence with the Kidney. Therefore it has effects on kidney stones, cystitis, low back pain. It is also the area where the Yang Leg Sinew channels meet therefore a good point to treat and sciatica pain of multiple channels.”
